Our Commitment to Providing a Safe Environment
Providing a safe environment for our guests and team members’ well-being is our top priority. As we start the re-opening process of welcoming visitors back to the Mariner, you will notice several changes and new protocols intended to keep everyone safe and healthy as you enjoy your time in Ogunquit with your family and friends. While we do plan to offer the same warm hospitality, we will simplify and reduce guest and staff interactions:
- Guests will be required, per the state of Maine, to wear face masks in common areas of the hotel. In addition, our staff will also be required to wear face masks at all times.
- Due to COVID19 guest service restrictions we will be unable to offer a complimentary breakfast and coffee service
- Social Distancing Guidelines will be observed throughout the Hotel
- We are using CDC recommended cleaning products & procedures and have increased the frequency of cleaning high-touch areas like doorknobs, tabletops, toilets, faucets, sinks, countertops, and desks. Additionally, we’re encouraging enhanced cleaning and personal hygiene practices to all staff members.
- Daily housekeeping service will be limited, any items you should require, such as toiletries, fresh linens, and in-room amenities delivered to your room.
- Curbside check in will be offered. Guests will be pre-registered and receive key packets without having to come into the lobby
- The pools & fitness room will be operating at limited capacity until further guidelines are issued
The Maine Quarantine does not require out-of-state visitors to isolate for 14 days, it allows our out-of-state visitors to stay at our hotels for any length of time while still being able to experience Marginal Way, Ogunquit Beach and other outdoor activities.
The State of Maine has opened up 3 paths for your vacation!
Path 1: In support of the State’s “Keep Maine Healthy” initiative, guests will be asked to complete a simple “Certificate of Compliance” when checking in. This certificate will verify that guests acknowledge completing the necessary requirements for healthy and safe travel without having to take a test.
Path 2: The State of Maine is also supporting a “Know Before You Go” approach to travel. If you receive a negative result on a Covid-19 test within 72 hours of your stay, you can enjoy your vacation without limitations.
Path 3: Residents of northern New England states (ME-NH-VT) may travel in Maine without restrictions.Social distancing is still in order.
